This is our favorite hike in the Smokies its located at the Townsend entrance before you get to Cades Cove. The entire hike is a waterfall and under trees it's also a gradually up.

Easy to moderate trail in Tremont area follows along the cascading water. At just .7 mile….easy hike…. there is a bench to sit and enjoy the view of a beautiful waterfall cascade. If you choose to walk 4 miles you will arrive at the Indian Flats Falls.

This is our go-to-hiking trail when we are hosting family and friends from out of town. It is an easy trail with a beautiful river and waterfalls. Always beautiful and even cool during the summer months!

There are a few trails you can hike that begin in the Tremont area of the Smoky Mountains. Middleprong is our favorite because of the numerous waterfalls and cascades. Spruce Flats Falls is another favorite! You'll love it!
