Easy hike, great for kids and one of the prettiest falls in the area. 19 miles from the cabin.

If you are already heading to Mt. Mitchell or the Blue Ridge Parkway stop at this waterfall. It's an easy hike and just a breath taking waterfall. If you have good knees you can take a small trail to the top but the view is best from the bottom.

Easy, level hike thats great for families with smaller kids. Has a nice waterfall at the end.

The easy walk to roaring Fork falls features interesting abandoned mine buildings. Roaring Fork Falls Trail is also short and flat most of the way.  only 30 minutes drive!
