Well I'm sure you will not be able to visit this one, but you will see it every day from your window. This national wildlife refuge was created in 1907 by Theodore Rosevelt. It was the first west of the Mississippi at that time. It houses, at times thousands of sea birds, hundreds of sea lions, and a handful of whales. In the morning during the same spring you can hear sea lions calling from the small rocks in front. All through the summer we also have whale sitings right by the rocks.
