The best way to start your evening: top of the world! View is amazing in this skyscrapper. It's free to go but you have to book in advance, it's worth it!

Perfect place to enjoy afternoon Pimms on the roof terrace. Gets too busy with the 6pm office workers rush Mon-Fri.

If you want the "drinks with a view" central London experience but balk at the price of going up the Shard, SkyLounge at the Hilton DoubleTree is a nice, posh-o feeling rooftop bar with slightly more reasonable prices.
