Take the free ferry from Cave-in-Rock across the river to Marion Ky. Several places to shop in Amish country. Also quaint places to eat and shop in Marion. I recommend Marion Pit BBQ if you love good pit smoked pork, chicken and ribs.

Cross the river to Amish country. It's a pretty fun thing...just make sure you check the operating hours. There's a great little fluorite museum in Marion, KY.
