A English Heritage sight. A ruined castle with a moat. Catch bus 99 from Eastbourne Town Centre alighting at Pevensey. Well worth an hour of your time. A free audio visual tape is included in the price. If you go down to the dungeon be warned it's wet normally there is a pool of water waiting for you !. Good views from the ramparts.
