Until a year or so ago, this was one of the last ‘old-mans’ boozers left in the North Laine. But as with the rest of the neighbourhood, gentrification was inevitable. It is now one of the coolest pubs in the area. With a young, fun, crowd and plenty of independent brewery beers on tap.

This is my all time favourite bar in Central Brighton! It has been recently refurbished and is stunning inside; they have also had a staffing overhaul, and they are fanatic! For me, it is important that a pub is dog friendly, as I take my dog everywhere with me, and this pub welcomes them with open arms. In the early afternoon, there is often the same amount of customers as dogs! The beer selection is incredible, and they constantly change it which is brilliant, so you can go back every week and there is something new to try! We have never tried the food in here, but have seen it being served, and it looks lovely! A definite pitstop whilst you're roaming around town!
