Rent a canoe or just go hiking. Great lake views and good walking trails. There's also a historic plantation and horse stable at this location.

With 52 acres, this living museum offers a peek into life on a cotton plantation in the 1800s for planters, slaves, and settlers. Get a guided tour of the plantation home, step inside a reconstructed slave cabin, and see farm animals, like sheep, chickens and pigs.

Our kids enjoy seeing the farm animals, especially the friendly sheep the freely roam right beside you! Nearby Raptor Center is also a fun visit.
