Chatham traditions to watch the fishermen arriving with their daily hauls in tow. Food from this spot doesn't get any fresher.....literally. Schedule Details The Pier Hosts will be on the observation deck at the Chatham Fish Pier and ready to chat when boats are unloading fish. Fishing is an outdoor business, so naturally the Pier Host Program is weather dependent and seasonal. While you may find Pier Hosts during the offseason down at the fish pier, they are regularly available between 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Fridays through Mondays from June 23 through Columbus Day.

If you go in the mid to late afternoon, you may see fishermen/women unloading their catches. There's an observation desk to give you a great view of them unloading their catches.

Watch the fishing boats come and go and unload their cargo. And note, you won’t be the only ones watching the fish come off the boats. Seals will be there, hoping the fishers spill something delicious for them!
