To reach Siena you can drive the Chianti road or take the free way from Monteriggioni (otherwise you can also drive the Cassia road from Monteriggioni). Siena is not a big city but a big town, so usually there are no problem of traffic and parking close to the center is very easy. We suggest you the parking close to the stadium, around the fortress of Siena. The main street of the center is Via Banchi di Sopra. From here you can reach Piazza del Campo with the Torre del Mangia and Palazzo Pubblico. From the square you can easily walk to the Duomo. You no need transportation to visit Siena, just walk ;) Between 2 July and 16 August, for the Palio event we are able to book for you the general rehearsal dinner in the Valdimontone district of Siena knowing in advance. This service has to be paid. Same things in case you are interested to book seats on the stage or terrace to watch the Palio, most famous event (Horses race) in Siena (Piazza del Campo).

Siena, located in the heart of Tuscany and surrounded by hills, is one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Italy. The fulcrum of the city is the famous Piazza del Campo, with its particular shell shape, where the famous Palio is held, one of the most important events for all Sienese people. The Palio di Siena is a passionate horse race that takes place every year in July and August. The Piazza del Campo is dominated by the red Palazzo Pubblico and from its tower, called Torre del Mangia, at the top of which, after climbing the 500 steps, you can enjoy a splendid view of the city. The Palazzo Pubblico, as well as the Cathedral of Siena, was built during the Government of the Nine, which was the period of maximum economic and cultural splendor of Siena. From the internal courtyard of the Palace you can access the Civic Museum, in which rooms are kept some of the masterpieces of Tuscan art and the Sienese school. Do not miss the visit to the beautiful villages scattered in the province of Siena and the inimitable view of typical Tuscan landscapes, made of hills, cypresses and white streets.
