A very popular destination for walkers and cyclists. It's well worth a visit in bluebell season, spectacular!

'King's Wood is 588 hectares of mixed conifer and broadleaf woodland. It is defined as PAWS (plantation on ancient woodland site), which means it has been under woodland cover since 1600. It is a stronghold for sweet chestnut coppicing in Kent and home of the SVCP (Stour Valley Creative Partnership).' We like it because it's off the beaten trail and excellent if you have dogs.

Huge woodland on the top of the North Kent Downs which has spectacular displays of bluebells in the spring.

A beautiful woodland just five minute drive from Wye for lovely walks with or without your dog. In Challock this is a must if you love the great outdoors.

A stunning location for a walk. In the Spring the bluebells are breath-taking. You can walk your dog and children here! Enjoy the tranquility and fresh air and maybe even see some of the local wildlife. Kings Wood is famous for it's fallow deer (will you see a white one?) There are also cycle paths and bridle ways here. Why not take a picnic?
