Further afield in Richmond, Surrey, Petersham Nurseries is a beautiful and eclectic venue, selling plants, antiques, home goods and yummy plates from their cafe/ restaurant and tea room. Tables are set in a beautiful, characterful greenhouse just a stones throw from the river Thames. You can walk over the road to Richmond park or about 20 minutes along the river path to Richmond town centre.

It's one of the most beautiful places in London, delicious food and lovely atmosphere, makes for a lovely day out by way of Richmond upon Thames

More of a very quirky cafe than a garden centre. But would make a great destination for a walk for a coffee, lunch or afternoon tea stop
