Cayo Costa is an uninhabited island with a long stretch of natural beach. The Island is only accessible by boat. Water Taxis are available at Pineland Marina through Tropic Star. It is a 20 minute drive to Pineland Marina and a 50 minute cruise to Cayo Costa. Search cayocostaferry, Advance Purchase is highly recommended. Bring the beach gear and a cooler with water.

It’s a bit of a trip, but well worth it for this gem. Take the ferry out to this island state park, and spend the day relaxing in the splendor of unspoiled nature and beaches.

This is by far the most beautiful beach in the vicinity. Take a sunny and informative 50 minute ferry ride over and spend the day. Cayo Costa is a neighboring barrier island with no vehicles only accessible by boat. Ask me for the link to tickets when you book.
