My only difficulty is that this experience was so personally satisfying that words cannot do it justice. Much as I love to support amazing hosts like Rose-Marie and George I also want to keep the secret! A unique blend of Malta’s rich past, but with the trappings of this era to make life comfortable. Don’t stay here if you want the icons of tourism like St Julian’s….this is a gorgeous time capsule, a magnificent house that feels like a home, and Rose-Marie is an absolute gem for glimpses into the real Malta, in my opinion.

Rosa and George were very welcoming also extremely helpful with any questions we had. The guesthouse is in a very convenient area for sightseeing also eating in Valletta. We would definitely stay again.

If you're looking for a cozy place to stay that's within walking distance to everything in Valletta ( and bus distance to everything else), this is the place for you! The BNB is right on the edge of the city center--close enough to the action, restaurants, bus stations, ferries, gorgeous views, but quiet and private enough to get a good night's rest.

While Valletta and Malta as a whole were fabulous, the real treasure was my two excellent hosts at the BNB, Rose and George. They were incredibly kind and welcoming! They take care of local kitties and ensure they're fed, and they care greatly for the guests at their BNB. It was evident that they love what they do and are happy to help all travelers. They prepared us breakfast daily, and always made sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed for the day. They also provided sightseeing recommendations, which led me to see Birgu's festival of lights and St. John's Cathedral.
