Hickory Tavern has excellent food with a sports bar atmosphere. There are MANY BIG SCREEN TV's everywhere! The menu has lots of affordable options and they are very tasty. Outdoor seating area is pet friendly and has a gorgeous view of Uptown. In the Spring and Fall on Thursday evenings, live music can be enjoyed outside on the stage/amphitheater.

This is a neighborhood favorite and we know the owner who is authentic Italian. The food is fresh with high quality ingredients and a very nice wine selection. You won't be disappointed dining here! It has outdoor seating, a small bar inside and offers take-home including delicious thin crusted pizzas.

Fantastic Italian food and nice wine choices. The portions are large so you may have a goodie bag to take back to the studio. This is a short walk from the studio on Kings Boulevard and is often times crowded in the evening so a reservation might be a good idea. They do have outdoor seating and a bar as well.

The studio is close to some interesting and hip neighborhoods that might be fun to explore. Each has its own distinctive vibe with a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from if you visit.

Stores like Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Coach, Belk, Dillards, Dicks, The Container Store, etc. are inside the mall and tasty restaurants such as Cheesecake Factory and Maggiano's.
