Plaza Midwood is the more refined cousin of NoDa. Plaza is art-centric and has a great selection of bars and restaurants. Commonwealth Ave, Central Ave, Pecan Ave, and The Plaza form the bounds of the nucleus of Plaza Midwood. Take a drive down The Plaza to appreciate the beautiful trees and houses. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Charlotte.

There’s also a vibrant restaurant scene featuring comfort food eateries, barbecue joints, gastropubs and several popular ice-cream shops. Stores sell everything from consignment and vintage clothing to records and locally made artisan goods and jewelry.

One of my favorite neighborhoods - walkable, laid back, lots of restaurants,shopping, and bars! Some favorites: Soul Gastrolounge, Thomas Street Tavern, Workman's Friends, Resident Culture, Betty's by Moxely, Dish, and Emmy Squared
