Great wine, excellent food, and relaxing atmosphere! The vineyard itself is a couple of miles down Tellico from the BnB. In addition to checking out the Tasting Station, go to their website and book a tour of the vineyard. It's by appointment only.

The Cherokee called the area that is now Franklin, NC, "Nikwasi" or "center of activity". Nikwasi was an ancient and important Cherokee town. The remains of Nikwasi Mound are still visible in downtown Franklin on East Main Street.

The Greenway in Franklin is a great place to walk but you can also access the Little Tennessee River from ATbnb by walking past the church and across the street through NC property. It's a great area to fish, tube or kayak.
