This place has won many awards for their steak! Their house RIbye Whiskey Steak is to die for! They also have a lot of amazing seafood dishes and amazing cocktails and impressive wine list! :)

This is one of my favorite local spots. You can get there by car or - my favorite- by boat as it is located right on Fish River (about a 20 min. boat ride from my property). It is very casual place and has both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the river. It is also perfect for families and children. There is even a sand pit with toys that kids can play in. Menu boasts local seafood and an amazing house burger. Don't forget to order a Bushwacker too!

16542 Ferry RdThis is one of my favorite local spots. You can get there by car or - my favorite- by boat as it is located right on Fish River (about a 20 min. boat ride from my property). It is very casual place and has both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the river. It is also perfect for families and children. There is even a sand pit with toys that kids can play in. Menu boasts local seafood and an amazing house burger. Don't forget to order a Bushwacker too!

This place is a lot of fun with more than 5 bars and several stages all with live music located all in one spot right on the beach! I have never eaten there but love to go there on Sundays after Brunch at The Ruby Slipper! You can easily loose track of time and spend all afternoon there listening to all the different bands and enjoying the views!

Not to mention The Bone and Barrel restaurant and Bar where I hostess a few times a month! This town is located right on Mobile Bay so the views are pretty amazing too!

This is an adorable zoo! It was the zoo featured on Animal Planet's show "The Little Zoo That Could" and has since received national acclaim. Very much worth a trip!
