Crocket's Beach is located near the Knox County Airport. It is less popular and ideal for walking pets or running on a beach. At high tide there is very little beach left, just rocks. At a dead low tide it is possible to find sand dollars and hermit crabs when you wade around. There is also a sand bar that appears on occasion and you can walk out to the small island, but you will need to hurry as you won't want to get caught when the tide comes back in. -Owls Head
