Amigos and Amicis are some of our favorite restaurants (it is worth the drive!). Owned by the same family, these Mexican and Italian restaurants boast incredible menus, great cocktails, a vibrant food scene, and they are very allergy friendly. We come here all the time!

Of all the great java spots on 30A, we come here the most. Josh, who runs it, is the best (say HI!). And the kids can play Tiki Toss while you enjoy your brew.

Blue Mountain Bakery (not sure why it says La Loba's). Come for croissants, pastries, vegan crumb cake, or even bowls and sandwiches. Find seats if you're lucky, but we usually just come for takeout.

Hotel Effie in Sandestin has two lovely restaurants. Ovide is home to a Michelin-star chef from Dallas, TX (woot woot!). And the rooftop is a fun place for burgers and fries.

Airstreams at seaside are an absolute blast. The restaurants are open breakfast through dinner, and this is such a fun one to come to for French crepes

City/town information
You'll feel like you arrived in Europe with the cleanliness of a prestigious beach town. Definitely spend an afternoon or two here. It's overly crowded, though, so be glad you stayed in Blue Mountain.

Barefoot Barbecue is the family favorite. While not quite the TX barbecue we get back home, it’s close enough! The smoked tuna dip is the top choice for our household.

Barefoot Barbecue is the family favorite. While not quite the TX barbecue we get back home, it’s close enough! The smoked tuna dip is the top choice for our household.
I’m not saying mom and dad will love the food here, but this is always a kid favorite. Feed the alligators and pet a baby one! That’s right! Enjoy (or try to) average food, but create lifelong memories with the kids.
