Super cute and casual crepe place just outside of downtown Wilmington (about an hour away). The food is authentic - this place is run by a Frenchman and the crepes are out of this world (better than some we had in Paris!). They even have gluten free, dairy free, and vegan crepe batter options!!

Visiting the sea turtle rehabilitation center is a wonderful and educational experience for kids and adults alike. Learn about sea turtles on the North Carolina coast, and the efforts to save and rehabilitate them. This center receives rescued sea turtles from all up and down the Eastern seaboard, and the goal is always to rehabilitate and release back to the ocean. The 30-45 minute tour includes facts about sea turtles, information on their preservation and rehabilitation efforts, and a walk through the turtle tanks to see these beautiful creatures as they heal. There are plenty of sea turtle trinkets in the gift shop, as well as the opportunity to donate and “adopt” a specific sea turtle! Don’t forget to buy tickets online in advance, as you have to make reservations for ticketed time slots.
