Belfast is an easy 30 min. drive and offers everything you'd expect from a coastal Maine town. Its got it's own "hip" vibe that makes it a worthwhile day trip from Camden.
Another great place to visit that is a 30 min. drive south on rte 1. If you're interested in our Native American History you need to checkout the Oyster Midden. Its a 12 foot high wall of Oyster shells left by the Natives hundreds of yrs ago. It's a hike but well worth it.

Damariscotta-Newcastle
