Area hiking attire considerations
Some of the best hiking in the area involves rivers, creeks, and streams and often the best waterflow involves some muddy conditions. Bring a suitable change of shoes for these activities. In warm months, swimming holes are more inviting when you have planned ahead and included a towel and water sandals in your pack. And don't forget the sunscreen and bug spray.
