There are only 2 recreational marijuana shops in Manitou. If by chance you are travelling through Pueblo or Denver to get here: buy on the way! It's way cheaper tax wise... otherwise, these two carry all you need to experience the CO 420 scene

Colorado doesn't really have it's "own" cuisine (or accent, lol)... so we borrow from the best. You will find a lot of green chilis used everywhere, some nods to our roots with Bison and Elk, as well as a strangely (Californian) love for seafood. TBH, as a native, I've always thought it odd how much CO loves seafood but also started eating sushi at 5 years old so...no complaints! Lol. Anywho, this is only a teeny list of the cool places to eat here. I hope you get to check some out. 👍🏻👍🏻

Weather warning: CO is famous for fincky weather, especially here in the mtns. SO: always have sunscreen, some light jacket, and a hat. If you have the stuff, you won't miss it. 👍🏻👍🏻 also, don't run away from an outdoor event too quickly, our weather also shifts quickly. In the Spring-Fall you can and might experience all four seasons with snow to hot hot sun in one day. One guarantee is that the sun never hides for more than 36 hrs. Dress in layers, expect wind.... have fun!!!! 😁😁 Oh, and don't feed the turkeys: they get aggressive 😬😂
