Our public transportation is unfortunately not up to par with places like New York City, so renting a car or utilizing Uber / Lyft is your best choice. Traffic can become quite congested during rush hours, and purchasing a SunPass or EZPass to utilize the toll roads is strongly recommended.

Want to bring a little Mickey Magic home with you? Skip the in-park purchases! Nearly every store here has licensed Disney and Universal merchandise for lower prices, and specialized outlets just for that can be found on every corner.

Where else can you see a rocket leave earth’s atmosphere with a brilliant burning glow and a sonic boom felt for miles away? Check out the Kennedy Space Center website or download the app “next Spaceflight” to see a schedule of launches. With multiple companies venturing into space, there can be launches as often as several times a week! The town of Titusville provides the best vantage points, and my personal recommendations for viewing are Sand Point Park, the Max Brewer Parkway, and Playalinda beach.

Need to fill up with gas before you return your rental car? Fill up locally- NOT right next to the MCO airport, where prices are often artificially inflated.
