Just. Do. It. So yummy! After you get your grilled cheese and cold beverage walk across the street and sit at the bar that backs up to the sand dunes and stare at the beautiful emerald green and aqua blue water. Your mouth and brain will thank you.

Sightseeing
This State Park has beautiful old oak trees that line the property. There's historical buildings that give you a sense what life was like in "Old Florida". You will find beach and lake access at this park. Canoe, kayak and SUP rentals are available. You can find more information, a price list and hours of operation if you search "Friends of Camp Helen State Park". This park is just a short drive down the road from the cottage.
If you decide to check out this beautiful and peaceful park, I recommend packing a picnic, sunscreen and water.

That is a long trip but so fun as there's plenty of places to stop at along the way. Don't forget your water, sunscreen and hat. You may want to add a basket for the goodies you might find on your travels.
