Busy hustle and bustle tourist town with an olde town curb appeal. Surrounded by mountains, this is a good place to explore and have a night on the town. But, be prepared for people and traffic. You can ride a gondola to the top of the mountain or ski in the winter at Uber Gaitlinburg. Festivities occur here year-round. If you come during Christmas you will see a lot of decorations and lights. Summer you may share the streets with people and bears alike!

This is the most major city around the cabin, about 45 min- 1 hour drive from the cabin. The airport is located in the southern part of Knoxville, in a town called Alcoa. All the box stores and conveniences are in Knoxville.

Aside from the cabin's back deck, this is THE best part of the area, the National Park. The cabin is about a 5 mile drive from the Wear Cove Gap Road/Metacalf Bottoms entrance to the park. Pick out your hikes or take a drive in the park and then return for a nice soak in the hot tub.
