In and Around Yachats
Quaint small town perfect for a getaway.
One of my favorite short drives is to turn right on Marine Drive (just before Dollar General going south on Hwy 101) which turns into Ocean View Drive. Follow Ocean View Drive passing cute cottage homes perched on oceanfront property, and continue on to Yachats State Recreation Area park right at the entrance to Yachats Bay. So beautiful I could drive this loop all day long.

Great towns and attractions near Glass House
Towns near Glass House include Waldport (15 min north), Newport (30 min north), Florence (30 min south). Attractions include Cape Perpetua Nat'l Park 10 min south, and Heceta Lighthouse 20 minutes south to name a few. There are numerous state beaches north and south of Yachats as well.
Small town with closest gas station. Larger super market (Ray's), Ace Hardware store, High School pharmacy, liquor store, bank, barber, gym, all located right on Waldport Bay. Note there is also a new boat ramp in Waldport if you bring a boat for crabbing or fishing.

Glass House is easy to find, has pretty much every convenience other than a hot tub (which is being worked BTW). Located on oceanfront and the Oregon 804 trail, located close to restaurants & market.
