Our family has found our second home in Hilton Head. Being from Fort Mill, we felt that Hilton Head brought the magic you need for a vacation to be the best that it can be. You really just escape and relax here, and frankly, never have to leave the resort. Our small family of three enjoy making memories here.

Palmetto Dunes

Sightseeing
From the top of the lighthouse, you can see over a large part of the island, as well as nearby Daufuskie Island. There are also some gift shops and places to eat there. You do have to pay a cash fee to get into Sea Pines.

Bike, walk or take the Dunes Buggy during peak season in PD.
The Palmetto Dunes Buggy is a free shuttle bus service inside Palmetto Dunes & Shelter Cove Harbor. It runs 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily, generally from April - September
This is an on-call service which takes you to any location within Palmetto Dunes or Shelter Cove Harbor. Call 843-689-4222 for a Free Ride!

Beach towels during the off-season
I provide beach towels from April 1st-November 1st to align with our pool hours. Please pack beach towels if you wish to use them during the off-season.

Toys at the condo, beach toys in the patio storage bin
I have provided toys in a bin in the master bedroom for kids to enjoy. I also recommend packing a busy bag of coloring books, crayons, etc. to take to restaurants just in case you have to wait a bit for food. There are also several playgrounds to choose from.
