Bring comfortable shoes & clothing for lots of walking.
Myrtle Beach has so much to see & do in addition to our beautiful white sand beaches. There are shopping, dining and entertainment venues in several locations in and around the city, so you may find you do a lot of walking. During the spring & summer, it is common to have quick afternoon rain showers, so pack an umbrella or rain coat. They don't last long, so have your sunglasses ready when the rain passes.

Most people travel in and around Myrtle Beach by car.
Buses, taxis and Uber/Lyft are other options to getting around, but keep in mind public transportation will take longer if you are staying outside the main downtown area. There are several local spots where you can park your car, and won't need it again until the end of your visit, such as Broadway at the Beach, The Market Commons & Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade.
