Best soft-shell crabs anywhere! Fantastic service and the owner, Nick at 80+ years old, still cooks and comes out to greet his customers. Salman salad is a favorite! They DO take reservations.

GREAT coffee!! Try the cinnamon bun. I finally got brave and tried the Pavlova. What a pleasant surprise!! It was absolutely fantastic and will definitely order it again. Great atmosphere especially in the morning with several quiet spaces to read or plan your day. Enjoy the fireplace in the cooler months.

What a great deal for a 90-minute tour of historical Savannah AND you can use the on and off pass for that day and they'll drop you off and pick you up at various points of interest or designated spots.

Great way to tour the city if walking is an issue or you just want a FUN way to get around from one place to the other. If you're a good tipper and pleasant customer, they'll come and get you just about anywhere and take you to wherever you want to go and will even pick you up at the apartment.

A must go to place while in Savannah. It's just blocks from the apartment and well worth the walk. Lots of shoppes and restaurants that were once the wharf warehouses in days gone by. A significant part of the Savannah history.

There's nothing like watching the sun rise over the ocean so grab a coffee and go see it at least once while you're in Savannah. I'd recommend going to the pier on Tybee to see it.

If street parking check for street sweeping signs!
Parking is easy. You can street park and use the parking kiosks which take cash, credit/debit cards or the parking garages. Most guests use the parking garage. There is one on Lincoln Street and one on State Street and both are in easy walking distance of the apartment.

Clean restrooms open to the public
The Hyatt on Bay in the rear of the lobby has CLEAN restrooms the public can access.
The Welcome Center on MLK and down on River Street has clean public restrooms.
City Market has public restrooms on the square.
Forsyth Park has public restrooms.
Most other places are for customers only

FREE ferry service to the Westin across the river.
Seriously! You can go back and forth as much as you want and it's FREE and it's FUN! Great views of River Street coming back from the Westin in the evening when it's all lit up for some fantastic photo ops! During the Christmas holidays the lobby of the Westin is all decked out with local Christmas trees and decorations.

Elevator on Bay Street adjoined to the Hyatt to River Street
Just a bit of advise especially if you have concerns navigating stairs or walking on uneven surfaces. Getting down from Bay Street to River Street you either have to take VERY steep stairs or walk on the ballast stones that pave the road to River Street. BUT, there is a public elevator on Bay Street adjoined to the Hyatt that is easy to use and will take you down to River Street. Highly recommend especially if you have mobility concerns.

Forsyth Park off Gaston Street
Go experience the local Farmer's Market EVERY SATURDAY in Forsyth Park from 9:00am until 1:00pm. They kids will LOVE the play area and the famous fountain and wide-open space of the park. Lots of running around space and places to ride bikes throughout the park.
