Food scene
This is the best Chinese food I've found nearby. Just a short walk across 38th. The sesame chicken is to die for. I always get the little cream cheese wantons as well. Great happy hour on house wine and a few local brews on tap. This place can get buys for takeout on weekends.

This place has amazing wings. The happy hour is awesome, with lots of food items and drinks, and they sell pizza by the slice. The bar area is small in size but the dining area is great for bigger groups. The owner is a transplant from Chicago and makes a killer deep dish. They even have 12$ bottles of wine on certain days.

The best beer in walking distance. Although there are several breweries to walk to from our home, this one has the best variety for beer. It has a large area to hang out, family owned (father son team) and a spot for the locals. If they have the Wiggy on tap I would highly recommend! Also great space for kids and usually a food truck out front most busy nights.
