Always a good place to start. There is a nice little park across the street and you are a short walk from Cafe Pony Expresso various dining experiences, and downtown shops. This is a nice stepping stone to downtown St. Joseph.

Food scene
Great brick oven pizza here. Not like fast food pizza. A bit pricey but worth it. Outside seating, weather permitting. This is just up the street from River Bluffs brewery!

The Arts
This is a beautiful theater from the 1920's. Plays, musicals, and more on a regular basis. My son was in school plays and performed here. It was a special night: he was a great "Beast." AKA Beauty and the Beast.

The Missouri Theater was built as a cinema in the atmospheric style, using a combination of Art Deco and Moorish detailing.
