A great place to take a hot tub outdoors, and an even hotter sauna…..to take the edge off on a cold weather day. They have really nice clean, delicious, food and green juices too!

One of my favorite restaurants nearby! Southwestern BBQ with amazing fish tacos, cornbread, BBQ Brisket and salad. The outdoor patio and beer garden are great to hang out in. Reservations a very good idea! Walk-ins might be accommodated between 2-5 PM.

A nice place very close by to have a picnic lunch, straight up the hill on Congress! I highly recommend walking straight up and over the hill, down the promenade to the water and taking the eastern trail East, (to the right when facing the water), to go in town to the central shopping district, ferry terminal and Commercial Street! There are outdoor restaurants along the way right next to the water and food trucks lining the prom!

Take a ferry out to the beautiful islands in Casco Bay. Peaks Island is the closest....There you can have ice cream cones, rent bicycles, lounge on the beach, eat in their nice restaurants, a real New England day trip!

Grab some beverages and snacks at Rosemont Market on the way and go up over the Eastern Promenade and down to the beach by the water and the Eastern Trail.
