Dancing Gnome Brewery is my favorite brewery in the city, and it's only ten minutes from the house. How lucky am I?
They've got great New England-style IPAs (cloudy and citrusy), with new releases every Saturday around noon.
Though they don't have food, there's usually a food truck parked right outside.

I always keep the Row House's printings of their showings for the month in case my guests want to check out a movie. They always have a diverse blend of movies, old and new, usually based around some type of theme. Plus, the theater is connected to Bierport, which has knowledgeable and friendly bartenders. Have a beer with your popcorn!

The best view of Pittsburgh you'll find. Once you're up there, it's fun to drive around and look at the AMAZING houses overlooking the city. (Sorry my bnb isn't up there!)
Also, there's a few bars and restaurants to check out, as well. A good way to spend a relaxing afternoon.

THE Pittsburgh Staple. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL LOCATION (and hands-down the best one).
When someone says they'll have a sandwich "Pittsburgh Style" (with fries and slaw on it), they REALLY mean they'll have it "Primanti's Style."
Get the Capicola and Cheese, trust me. The Pastrami and Cheese is also great. Tip: Add an egg to either sandwich. People also love the Pitts-burger, but it's just "meh" to me.
