Not really a cafe more like an artisan ice cream spot that pairs unique ice cream and non dairy flavors with interesting waffle cone flavors. Oh, and chowders of the world! Menu varies but you'll find traditional NE chowder and chowders from SE asia, Africa, and other areas of the world.

Magical walk through the rainforest down to an undeveloped beach. Look for nurse logs and the endangered marbled murrelet. Walk out to Cape Falcon to look for whales during the grey whale migration or enjoy the tidepools and a walk on the beach. If it's raining you'll get the place to yourself and it's even more green and magical. Go regardless of the weather!

Walk south along the undeveloped beach and dunes to the mouth of the Nehalem river then follow the river back upstream to the Nehalem Bay boat launch. At low tide dig for clams (local restrictions apply), launch SUPs or fishing boats, take a horseback ride or land your plane on the airstrip.

At low tide dig for clams (local restrictions apply), launch SUPs or fishing boats, take a horseback ride or land your plane on the airstrip.
This trail is walkable from the cabin or head out on an early morning run before the family wakes up or walk with your older kids as the little one naps. Trail runs alongside the Nehalem Bay through a forested section of trail. Our resident herd of elk are often seen grazing in the field.
