Drinks & Nightlife
Bokaal is located right next to the apartment: on the Nieuwemarkt, which is a quiet square with a lot of nice cafés around. The square itself is usually quiet and just filled with people enjoying their afternoon. No rushes of cars passing by, which is very nice.
The atmosphere of Bokaal is also great. When there’s nice weather, they set up a barbecue to grill food. In the evening they have lights hanging over the terrace, which really give you a holiday feeling. And it’s a varied crowd that visits Bokaal, from students to families to people like you and me.
This place is most known in town for its extensive beer menu. They have 11 beers on draft and about 80 different kind of bottled beers.
