Remember where Forrest waited almost a whole movie for that bus? That was on the south side of Chippewa Square. You'll have to use a little imagination though, because the bench is in the museum. Also, the traffic flows in the opposition direction in the movie.

Beautiful architecture and stained glass windows. Amazingly carved stations of the cross inside. As long as you're not in the mass hours, you can go in as a tourist.
