They are beautiful, and in the summer admission is free after 5PM on Wednesdays with free concerts as part of the Whittaker Concert Series. Highly recommended.

I confess that as a kid I wasn't enamored, but as an adult I can appreciate this world heritage site, an ancient city dating back to 700 AD - how cool is that? Egypt has nothing on the Midwest!
