its the oldest operating theatre in the country (maybe in the world) and shows what it was like in previous centuries to have an operation. It's quite an eye opening- especially if you have an interest in medicine and i would recommend it for children

my favourite place on Bermondsey Street - look at the collection of biscuit tins on the top shelf! This place is pricey though so perhaps best for a treat. For most groceries go to Tescos on Tooley Street of Sainsburys in Bermondsey Square
