Granville Island is a must visit, loads of little boutiques, artisans, foodie options and simply a beautiful walk or bike ride away. Take the scenic route there by walking down to kits beach and continue your way along the water. You can also take the Arbutus Greenway as a short cut (usually for coming home).

Kitsilano or "Kits" is named after Squamish Chief, August Jack Khatsahlano. The neighborhood is located in Vancouver's West Side along the south shore of English Bay, between the neighborhoods of West Point Grey and Fairview. The area is mostly residential with two main commercial areas, West 4th Avenue and West Broadway, known for their retail stores, restaurants and organic food markets. Notable landmarks in Kitsilano include the Burrard Bridge, Kitsilano Beach, and the Museum of Vancouver/H. R. MacMillan Space Centre.
