This is our favorite bay beach to go with the kids. It’s super close to the house (10 mins approximately.) we love to see the sunsets there, we swim, play, eat, drink… it’s a friendly beach. The parking could be tricky sometimes but you can either go very early in the morning or around lunch time ppl leave around that time. You can wait and sometimes the cars come in and out or in the worst scenario you can go to the following streets down to Orleans at Crosby beach and the parking lot there is larger it’s the same bay. This beaches are well recognized for its flats.

Linnell Landing Beach
Linnell Landing RdThis is our favorite bay beach to go with the kids. It’s super close to the house (10 mins approximately.) we love to see the sunsets there, we swim, play, eat, drink… it’s a friendly beach. The sunsets there are beautiful, this beach it’s kids friendly, we like the ocean side (Nauset beach) but sometime with little kids we don’t relax as much and we prefer the bayside so this is one of them.

Skaket Beach
During the summer can be hard sometimes to find parking specially at the bay side on 6A in Brewster so our best bet it’s to go to skaket beach, the parking lot it’s larger and you can pay (20-25 us) at the entrance cash or credit card. The sunsets there are beautiful, this beach it’s kids friendly, we like the ocean side (Nauset beach) but sometime with little kids we don’t relax as much and we prefer the bayside so this is one of them.
If you are looking for fresh water and change it up a little bit from salty waters this is another spot we as family enjoy. Long Pond is the largest in Cape Cod. The kids love it. There is a nice beach area, the water is fresh and warm enough to cool down a hot summer day! They have life guards and you can bring your kayak or SUP board, ppl also bring their boats.
You can pay the entrance cash (20-25 us) or you can pay the pass online at the Harwich town, Brewster has access to the pond too but it’s smaller the parking.
The access from Harwich side is closer to the house around 10 mins or less; it’s driving on direction to the highway (exit 11 now 85) taking the long pond road it’s the road that starts in the corner of Fountain Medical Center towards Harwich.

Long Pond
If you are looking for fresh water and change it up a little bit from salty waters this is another spot we as family enjoy. Long Pond is the largest in Cape Cod. The kids love it. There is a nice beach area, the water is fresh and warm enough to cool down a hot summer day! They have life guards and you can bring your kayak or SUP board, ppl also bring their boats.

It’s about 3 hours ride and you can see a beautiful sunset on the way back if you choose the latest trip. It’s very worth the food the ride the memory you can create with this experience. You have to book in advance if you have the dates you’ll be in the Cape coz it fills up quick…
