Hikes
Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is the highest point in Tennessee, and the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi. During clear days, you can experience views of up to 100 miles.
The hike itself is .5 miles and somewhat steep but there is a path.
Check road conditions prior to leaving. The road is often closed during winter months through late March.
