The structure, specificially situated for the location's historical significance, is made up of three buildings that symbolize the cornerstones of freedom - courage, cooperation and perseverance, and the Freedom Center's curving architecture reflects the winding river and the often-changing path to freedom. Through it's exhibits and programming, the Freedom Center offers an educational and inspiring experience for children and adullts alike.

As much as anywhere, Cincinnati was a heart of the underground railroad and the front line of the abolition movement. The Freedom Center is a museum about the underground railroad, slavery and abolition. I've also seen exhibits there about modern day slavery. Tickets are around $15 for adults.
