The Key West Express takes you from Fort Myers Beach to Key West and back. Be sure to visit the Hemingway house and say 'Hi" to the cats.

We have not taken this trip, however friends have highly recommended as a great way (and the shortest trip vs driving) to visit Key West as a day-trip or an overnight-er.

Key West Express. 3.5 hour boat ride to Key West. Leaves at 8 am and arrives Noon. Departs from Key West at 6 and arrives FMB at 9:30. Leaves plenty of time to explore Key West attractions, Southern Most Point, Hemmingway House, Sloppy Joe's, etc. Everything is within walking distance
