The Salty Dog (new addition to my list), is just down the road off 41. Take a right on 41 off Shamrock and take a left onto 41 bypass towards Sharky's. just after the bridge, you will see a marina. The restaurant is over looking the marina. Park in back. There is a beautiful deck area out back. Wraps are good here. Their other location is in Sarasota across the street from Mote Aquarium. It is on the Sarasota bay and has a spectacular view of the bridge and bay.

$$ - $$$ American Bar Seafood Gluten Free Options. The outside bar is a fun and friendly.

This restaurant has a very fun bar-like atmosphere with a large deck that looks out toward the waterway. The food is general american type food, but my friend Karen thinks they have they BEST coconut shrimp around. It is also a nice stop on the island loop if you are in need of some munchies or a drink.
