As featured on NPR's This American Life, the Great Blacks in Wax Museum is a truly unique wax museum completely devoted to African American history and culture. Not your average museum by any means.
won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is a very unusual (and woefully underfunded) wax museum with figurines from Black History. Powerful stories. In a blighted neighborhood, small admissions fee.
This place will blow your mind. Each time I have a friend from out of town, I’m sure to take them here!
A wax museum featuring prominent African-American and other black historical figures. It was established in 1983.
This museum is in Baltimore, about 40 minute drive, but can access Baltimore using Marc Train leaving from Union Station on the metro red line.
