“Where the Pilgrims met the Native Americans for the first time in 1620. Today you can enjoy a pristine bayside beach that hasn't changed much since then. Go all the way to the end of the parking lot to access the Herring River inlet where you can find swimming holes even at low tide.”

“The amazing landscape includes marshlands and stunning dunes. Large waves at the Coast Guard beach creates great opportunities for boogie-boarding and surfing. The parking at the beach is not very large and is for residents only, however, non-residents can park at the nearby Little Creek parking lot and hop on the shuttle that runs every few minutes. A boardwalk runs right to the beach making it accessible for the disabled. There are lifeguards, showers, restrooms, and even handicap chairs available at the beach.”

“I grew up next to the owner. Her grandmother taught me to crochet. Tell Janet Donna says "hi!". They'll cook up a lobster feast to go. Fresh, local, delicious. Bring it home, to the beach or eat out on the picnic tables. (I recommend the beach.)”
