A fun investigation of Savannah's murderous, scandalous, fascinating past, complete with serial killers, crimes of passion and compelling unsolved cases. We stroll Savannah's mysterious streets, sipping our cocktails, exploring our outrageous history and visiting our best bars. We will visit a minimum of 4 bars, strolling with drinks in hand, taking advantage of Savannah's open container policy as we explore the darker sides of this beautiful city. Other things to note All guests must be 21 years or more. Please wear comfortable shoes, there will be walking at a leisurely pace. Check weather conditions and dress accordingly or bring an umbrella. Also, this is the South, it probably goes without saying that insect repellent is sometimes helpful!
Sunset Sail in the Charleston Harbor
After a brief safety speech, we will shove off the dock and head into the scenic Charleston Harbor. As we raise the sails and turn the engine off, you'll immediately feel the relaxation set in and discover why the sailboat is named Mental Heeling. You'll be involved as much (or as little) as you prefer as we tack and gybe our way around the harbor together. Views of various landmarks include: Fort Sumter, The Battery, USS Yorktown, Castle Pinckney and the iconic Ravenel Bridge. The conditions for that day (wind, current, tide) will dictate how close we are able to get to the above landmarks. Guests under the age of 13 will be required to wear a life jacket per the US Coast Guard. I will have adult and child life jackets onboard. Other things to note You will receive a Welcome Message via Airbnb messenger upon booking, PLEASE READ! Booking Tip- book early in your visit in case we need to reschedule due to weather. You can bring any snacks/drinks that you would like. Adults 21+ may bring alcohol. **Please avoid bringing any glass**
Farm Snuggle Sessions at Flowertown Charm Urban Farm
Follow us @flowertowncharm Baby goats due Fall 2022! Want more than an hour with the farm animals? Come stay with us! www.airbnb.com/h/flowertowncharm You will get up close (literally in your lap if you want) with our super friendly dwarf goats & their friends, a Mini Scottish Highland bull, chickens, barn cat, farm dog, sweet bunny, bee hives, & giant totoise. Pretty much all of our animals can be pet, snuggled, & are very friendly! Each one has a name, a special place in our hearts, & this is what makes our farm different from a petting zoo. We have some of the friendliest animals you can meet and are up close to the animals not petting over a fence… The snuggle session will take place in our urban backyard and you can sit with them, feed them leaves, pet them, give hugs, or brush them! We will intoroduce you to the animals, and tell you some facts about them, but also give you the freedom to roam and pet whoever your favorite is! You can BYOB if you wish too. We are happy to do private sessions as well depending on our schedule, please message us. We are closed Sun-Tues. Our urban historic farmhouse and mini farm is located in Summerville, SC. Summerville is a historic town about 25 min outside of Charleston. Many folks are surprised with our mini-farm being in an urban setting. We are unique because this city was built up around our 1870's farmhouse.
Kayaking Through Back Yards and Tidal Creeks in Small Groups
Our experience is now completely self-guided. We spend 15 minutes with you pre-departure discussing safety, regulations, operations and navigation. (We apologize for any confusion; we stopped offering guides as a pandemic measure.) We'll meet on my private dock about 90 minutes before high tide and start a briefing. Our kayaks are 8 or 10 feet in length and extra wide making them very stable. When your party is comfortable, you may depart down Simpkins Creek. You may stay in the various adjoining small creeks or make your way to James Island Creek which is the entry to Charleston Harbor. The marshes are both peaceful and beautiful any time of year. We advise you to use your phone's GPS for navigation but do provide a printed map as well as suggestions on best routes. You'll see birds like white Ibis (Curlews), Egrets, Herons, Ospreys, Summer Ducks or Mergansers (diving ducks) in winter. Likely you'll see fish jumping and miles of marsh-grass (brilliant green in summer) or gorgeous sunsets or dolphins and hear the call of Marsh Hens. Sit back and enjoy the serenity of the season and scene. The incoming tide creates an upper body workout, but your party controls the pace and duration of your gentle ride on the creek. Please consider sunscreen, hats, sunglasses or gloves. Also note that times are based on tides and generally can't be altered. See you on the dock!
Savannah for Morons, The Trolley Tour
This is the first comedy trolley ride in Savannah and the only trolley tour hosted by professional improv comedians. We are also the only tour in town that allows you to BYOB! We also stop at a bar halfway through so you can grab a restroom break and refresh your drink! Our comedy tour does feature adult language and jokes. The f-bomb may be used a few times. Meet us at 223 MLK Blvd approximately 15 minutes prior to the tour and jump on the trolley! We are on a strict schedule due to running multiple tours throughout the day. Please arrive on time!

Boo-Hag and Brews Ghost/Bar Tour
Is this a walking brew tour with a side of ghosts or a ghost tour with a side of brews? While guests will have to decide on that, we can tell you this is not an average "sit there and shut up " tour, but rather an opportunity to engage back and forth with a 7th gen. local. As a combined bar and ghost tour guests will start out at a local Irish pub where an appetizer will be provided complimentary and guests can order some delicious cocktails or beers (yes the Guinness is on tap ) while the guide goes over the basics of local history and the ghosts present in the City of Charleston. From there guests will walk by several historic graveyards and alleyways to hear in-depth stories of local ghosts and spirits such as the notorious BOO-HAG which is only known to Charleston. Guests will begin to understand why/how ghostly activity can take place after particular circumstances of love, tragedy, and horror. Eventually the group will make its way over to the relative safety of another bar. The tour will wind down at a hauntingly beautiful local park to hear about one of the first female serial killers. Don't stick around too long after... -Please bring valid photo identification (license or passport). -Experience is for guests 21+ only. -This experience is Not for guests with walking difficulties -One small snack provided at beginning of tour - Two bars are visited
Nennella Sailing on Charleston Harbor
Nennella Sailing offers year-round sunset and daytime charters on a classic 1964 Pearson Vanguard 32-foot sloop. Only about 400 of these yachts were built. Nennella is No. 109. When these boats were made, sailors navigated the seas using paper charts, sextants and the stars above. Step onto the boat -- with her high bow and raised transom, full keel, original wooden boom, and teak-lined cockpit -- and get unstuck in time: for three hours you will be transported, literally and metaphorically, across the waters of Charleston Harbor and through the history of one of the most fascinating cities in the United States. First settled in 1670, Charleston became the epicenter of rice production during the antebellum period, and the most significant port of entry in North America of the transatlantic slave trade. Here is where determined American Patriots defeated the mighty British Navy in the Battle of Sullivan's Island. Here is where the first shots of the Civil War rang out. In this harbor Robert Smalls commandeered the Confederate transport ship CSS Planter and piloted it and its enslaved passengers to freedom. Here the courageous 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment fought the Second Battle of Fort Wagner. The history is rich, troubling, fascinating. Learn about it, as well as the details of contemporary life in Charleston, aboard the classic sailing yacht Nennella!
