Large kettle pond in Wellfleet down the road from Cahoon Hollow Beach , Long, windy stairs lead down to the pond area and visitors must then travel through water to reach the sand. Sunbathers won’t like this beach as the greenery provides mostly shade over the sandy area.

For a relaxed, public swimming pool atmosphere, Long Pond in Wellfleet is the place to go. It is a fair-sized shady beach that reaches far back from the water. Lush greenery creates a very picturesque place to lay back and watch the kids frolic in the cool water.
